Boot from USB on
Now that your key is ready, you'll be able to start and use the Windows XP that is located above, on any computer. Most newer computers can boot from a USB key.
- Insert your USB drive into a PC.
- Restart your computer. At startup, press the key for accessing the BIOS, usually Del sometimes F1 or F2 depending on the brand.
- Locate the section on the boot sequence, Hard Disk Boot Priority under the heading Advanced BIOS Features example.
- Using the arrow keys and buttons and + - , place the USB stick at the top of the list. It is usually indicated by its name.
- Save your changes by pressing the F10 then Y . Finally, press the Enter key .
- Windows starts up on your USB drive.
