To mark the release of his album "My nights are shorter than your naps" (available in stores since December 3, 2010 ), Nicolas Joseph will be in concert this Thursday, February 3 at the European (Part One: "3 minutes sur mer"). It's been 10 years since Nicolas Joseph [ www.nicolasjoseph.org ] walks the streets of Paris, lugging around his songs in bars, sidewalk scene in festivals. First solo, armed with his guitar, his accordion and his banter, he does not hesitate to sing out loud his rants and his blows blues. In a clever pen dipped in anger, tenderness and humor, he depicts his world at the turn of sometimes serious and sometimes catchy tunes. It now runs with three musicians, Celine Fabre clarinets, Yannick Jamin and Chadi Chouman guitars and percussion, which accompany him in his travels. Follower of the scene in all its forms, it's no surprise that we find Nicolas Joseph in various other projects, whether in the theater - he currently plays in a theater play ; very street - or in different musical ensembles. In June 2003, he created the festival TaParole which he is artistic director. But the love of text and song wins and his album "My nights are shorter than your naps" is the result.
