Health Coop Gracefield will close
It was announced yesterday, the president of the cooperative, Ron Laflamme. Mr. Laflamme said the health coop does not have income to pay the mortgage on the building it purchased to house the four doctors who have agreed to work in Gracefield. Faced with debts of $ 180,000, and unable to convince its members to pay an annual fee of $ 40 (plus the $ 50 share) co-op health should be dissolved and that is what the board of Directors will propose at the meeting on 25 October.
